Honstlar (full name Honstlar Waddler) is a 26-year-old internet ranter/reviewer. He is the half-half brother of Homsar, the cousin of Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, and the supreme overlord of the Broternal Order Of Different Helmets. His review channel is very popular, with over 80,000 subscribers and millions of views. He wears a purple shirt with "honstlar" written on it and a bowler hat similar to Homsar's, with a black "buzzer" similar to Homestar Runner's. Honstlar is semi-random, weird, agile, and spontaneous. In his spare time, he likes making videos, playing video games, surfing channels, watching Cheat Commandos, listening to music (mostly Limozeen, sloshy, and Taranchula), and wrestling (as his wrestling alter ego, Waddlem'n). He is good friends with the rest of the Broternal Order of Different Helmets, including Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, Coach E, SRMX12, EDITED Video Greg, and Stom. (more...)

Gfdgsgxgzgdrc (full name Gfdgsgxgzgdrc J. Garbles, also known as Gfd) is an incredibly random citizen of Free Country, USA. He is the cousin of Honstlar and the half-half-cousin of Homsar. His appearance seems to be a combination of many characters. He wears a green shirt with a yellow G on it and a bowler hat similar to Homsar's. For the most part, Gfd is a comic relief character, and as a result, he is usually quite unintelligent, forgetful, and untalented. The most important part of his personality, however, is his randomness. Like Homsar, his randomness can break the laws of physics. Over the years, his strange obession with non-edible food items has been exaggerated to the point where it's almost the center of his personality, and he can even eat non-physical concepts. He is good friends with Homsar and his fellow members of the Broternal Order of Different Helmets. Gfd keeps 7,256 items in his bowler hat, including objects larger than the bowler hat itself. Coach E (full name Coach Erin) is the Homestar Runner persona of the user Bubs (nicknamed Coach E). Coach E is an 18-year-old girl who moved to Free Country, USA when she was 15. She has white skin like Coach Z, and she has golden blonde hair with some brown in it, tied in a dark pink ribbon. She wears a pink dress, dark pink bracelets on each wrist, pink shoes, and a silver and pink E bling, similar to Coach Z's Z bling. Coach E is friendly and sweet, but she can be sensitive and angry at times when you spoil her good mood. She loves the company of Bubs and Coach Z and sees them as her "godparents", as they treat her like a daughter. In return, she helps take care of their babies. Bubs is very kind to Coach E and reassures her. She also likes the company of Strong Sad, Homestar Runner, Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, Piem'n, and Honstlar. She also has a daughter named Erin Jr. (more...)

April 2018

SRMX12 is an inhabitant of Free Country, USA. His appearance is remarkably similar to Homestar Runner's; major differences being a different shirt, black soles instead of blue, brown hair, and blue-tinted glasses, without which he cannot see more than three feet in front of him. A self-professed "intellectual", SRMX12 is given to spontaneously inventing bizarre and whimsical words and expressions. He is rarely seen out of the company of his laptop, the Prisma One, and gains an air of superiority when talking about computers, providing meaningless technical terms and explanations that sometimes call into question how much he actually knows about technology. In some toons, these qualities are humorously exaggerated; in others, he merely fills the role of a levelheaded character contrasting with more outrageous personalities. SRMX12 is a member of the Broternal Order Of Different Helmets as the "Royal Secretarian"; a role presumably akin to a secretary, as he takes the minutes of each meeting (though these are of questionable value and regularly veer into irrelevant tangents). Gfd's Quote of the Time is a feature based on's Quote of the Week. This fanstuff was started by Gfdgsgxgzgdrc on January 31st, 2015, with one of Strong Bad's quotes from April Fool 2014. It has most recently reached one hundred quotes, and is currently on hiatus. Originally, the images were created using MS Paint, but upon reaching 50 quotes, it changed to use the official Quote of the Week XML file, making it more authentic with better quality. However, it is still posted as an image, so the "hear it!", "get it!", and "close" buttons are not clickable. Fortunately, this makes it more customizable and allows for more creativity. Many quotes use custom character heads, format the text in various ways, or change the image entirely. Quotes can also be requested. Requested quotes use the Sketchbook's yellow border (as opposed to the usual blue border), and have the requester's name written in the corner in red. Readers can even make their own quotes using an image template. (more...)

V2UQNr0.png is a fake website started by SRMX12 on May 13th, 2016. A "new fanstuff" was first announced on the forum three days earlier, and the concept and title were announced the day before its creation. It's an online shopping and information website for Bubs' Concession Stand, with all the text written in Bubs's personality. There are several sections. such as Home, Meet Bubs, Products, Other Services, and Sales, which can all be accessed at the top of the page. The home page includes a description of the website and some news announcements. It is designed like an actual website, with different colors and a banner, which shows Bubs' Concession Stand with a logo and the slogan "We're always awesome!". All pages (except pages that link to subpages) have ".html" at the end of the title, like an actual website URL would. For example, the "refreshments" page is located at The website is not yet finished, as there are some pages that haven't been created. The creator states that once it is complete, it will address nearly every item ever sold at Bubs' Concession Stand on, providing humorous descriptions for them all. (more...)

Whodumpit? REVAMPED is an interactive text adventure created by BubsHeadStand on June 19, 2013. It is a remake of Whodumpit?, by the same creator on August 7, 2011. In this text adventure, the player controls Strong Bad, and can choose different options by clicking on links. The story centers around Homeschool Winner (Strong Bad's friend) getting falsely arrested for the kidnapping of Strong Sad. In order to find out "whodumpit", the player will need to disprove all three pieces of evidence used to convict Homeschool, as well as find at least five pieces of evidence pointing to a particular suspect. The game is divided into three parts. In the first part, the player will find pieces of evidence proving Homeschool's innocence. In the second part, the player will search Free Country, USA to find out who kidnapped Strong Sad. In the third part, the player will share to the world who kidnapped him, with evidence. Throughout the game, the player can use the upgraded Lappy 486 to scan for DNA, break someone's password, check an email, or surf the Internet (from part 2 onward). The Taranchula Black Metal Detector can also be used. (more...)

Coach E's Adventure is a fake unplayable video game by Bubs, Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, and Ilikepie38 (and indirectly SRMX12 and Branderson). It is based on Bubs's fan characters (mainly Coach E), and to a lesser extent, other users' fan characters. Bubs came up with the idea, Gfd created the graphics, Ilikepie thought of the title, and all three users created the ideas for the game. It was first suggested by Bubs in the Homsemails forum topic on September 13, 2015. The fanstuff was started by Gfd in his personal Sandbox on September 19, 2015, and the page was created on October 5, 2015. It is a 2D Videlectrix platformer game with puzzle elements. Most puzzles can be solved by strategically switching characters, as each character has different strengths and weaknesses. There are 11 main playable characters, plus 11 secret characters, and 4 holiday-exclusive characters (26 characters total). The player's goal is to complete all four levels in all ten worlds (40 levels total; 48 including the secret world and Halloween-exclusive world). When the player completes certain levels, a main Homestar Runner character will follow the player, becoming a "helper". Helpers' unique powers can be used to complete certain puzzles. There are 11 main helpers and 5 secret helpers (16 helpers total). The game's documentation is thorough and extensive (with subpages for the walkthrough, graphics, responses, music, shop, mini-games, and enemies and items), but it is still not finished. (more...)

The Longest Story Ever is a collaborative Homestar Runner fan fiction written on the forum by Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, Ilikepie38, Bubs, BubsHeadStand, and Tenerence Love. A few words were posted at a time by each person, and there was no planning beforehand, making it entirely improvised. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc started it on August 18, 2012, and it was ended on September 20, 2015. In the story, Homsar gets hit in the head and can speak normally. He then saves everyone from a dangerous emoticon. Pom Pom gets popped and turns into a zombie, so Strong Bad and Senor Cardgage run to Sweet Cuppin' Cakes Land. Senor Cardgage becomes the new King of Town, so the old King of Town joins the Homestarmy. The Homestarmy attacks Strong Bad and The Cheat because Pom Pom's sandwich has a nuclear weapon inside. Senor Cardgage kills Pom Pom, and the Homestarmy takes the weapon. Stinkoman kicks The Cheat into the atmosphere. Coach E and Bubs rescue The Cheat, who was trying to get Senor Cardgage's book. Bubs Jr's Xeriouxly Forxe counterpart, Bubz Jr, chases after them, trying to get the book. When they return to Earth, Vector Strong Bad comes and wreaks havoc on the Old-Timey countryside until 20X6 Bubs and Coach Z destroy him. Then they stop the Shadowy Figure from filling the universe with French fries. Bubs eats Gel-arshie, giving Homestar his job back, making Homestar and Cherry Greg famous. (more...)

The Homestar Witch Project is an unfinished Halloween fan fiction by RasterOfMandomness. It was started on August 1st, 2016, and last updated on November 19th, 2016. The title is a reference to The Blair Witch Project. Like other Halloween toons, the twelve main characters get their own Halloween costumes, along with Senor Cardgage, Stinkoman, 1-Up, Humidibot, Preshy and Rafferty, and Honstlar (although Honstlar is only seen in an Easter egg). After trick-or-treating, Strong Bad stumbles upon Strong Sad laughing at a terrible found-footage horror film. This inspires Strong Bad to make his own, featuring him, Strong Mad, and The Cheat looking for the Homestar Witch. At this point, the toon is unfinished. A costume page was also started, but the creator gave up and decided to simply list the costumes on the toon's page instead. Interestingly, the costume page was the creator's first edit, and was created before the toon page. (more...)

Text Quests is a collection of interactive text adventures, started by BubsHeadStand on March 19, 2012. It is based on the game Strong Bad played in E-mail Birds. So far, it contains two unrelated text adventures: "What if..." and "Thy Dungeonrunner". The first is finished, while the second is only partially finished. The structure is similar to most wiki text adventures, as there is a list of links on each page that the player can choose from to continue playing. "What if..." is about you and a friend getting stuck in the Homestar Runner universe. The goal is to collect pages and find clues that will lead you back to the real world. "Thy Dungeonrunner" is a game that combines Thy Dungeonman and Hallrunner. The player controls Ungurait #005, and the goal is to find the other four Unguraits. The second half of the game is based on Maps and Minions, where Ungurait #005 has to navigate The House of the Brothers Strong without being caught. (more...)

Homestarlidays is a DVD containing the holiday-related toons of the Homestar Runner website. The fanstuff was created by CaptainPastHisPrime on October 27, 2015. It is not yet finished, as it only includes toons from 2000 to 2003. This includes not only the major holiday toons, but also some segments of other website sections pertaining to those holidays, such as Strong Bad Emails and Teen Girl Squad. The FBI warning features Stinkoman in his business suit from Twenty THANXty Six, asking illegal copiers of video content if they are asking for a court challenge. He then holds up his briefcase and performs a legal deuce. It currently includes nine Halloween toons (four major, four minor, and one Fan Costumes), three Thanksgiving toons, three Decemberween toons (two major, one minor), and four other holiday toons (Mothers' Day, Trogday, Super Bowl, and Labor Day). This DVD is the first since the Sbemails' 50 Greatest Hits DVD to feature web content on DVD more than once. Coupled with the aforementioned DVD, there will have now been 60 Strong Bad Emails released twice on DVD (except for "dragon", which will have been released three times). (more...)
